«Neoyorquinos» is the novel by Cathleen Schine, published by Espasa in paperback, with 344 pages, in Spanish.
On a block next to Central Park, different neighbours live together, united by their passion for dogs. Walking their pets gives them the excuse to get to know each other, and the animals end up acting as clumsy cupids that cause misunderstandings and unexpected romances. The Go Go Grill restaurant, both a business and an NGO, is the center of this ensemble comedy.
It belongs to number 1 of the Espasa Narrativa collection; its original title is The New Yorkers. The original English edition was published in 2007.
For lovers of contemporary fiction and ensemble stories about urban life, with humor and dogs as the common thread.
