«No sóc racista, però...» is the essay by Matthew Tree, published by Destino CAT in paperback (108 pages, in Catalan).
Matthew Tree dismantles the racist clichés circulating in Catalonia and presents them as a pseudoscientific anachronism. The book proposes reviewing one's own prejudices and detecting racist attitudes in others and oneself, in the face of a future of mass migrations that will make it more urgent to banish them.
The Catalan edition is part of the L'ANCORA collection and was published on April 28, 2021.
For readers interested in social reflection and everyday racism, with a popularizing approach.
Matthew Tree is a writer in English and Catalan. He has lived in Catalonia since 1984.
