«Oui, mais quelle est la question ?» is the novel by Bernard Pivot, published by NiL in paperback (268 pages, in French).
Adam Hitch is a journalist unable to stop asking questions: he suffers from what he calls «cuestionitis», an addiction to curiosity that wrecks his love life. With humor and irony, Bernard Pivot narrates this obsession and blurs the line between novel and autobiography.
Bernard Pivot, member of the Académie Goncourt, published this work in 2012; the cover bears the subtitle «Roman ou autobiographie ?».
For readers of contemporary French fiction, especially those who enjoy humor and the ambiguity between fiction and autobiography.
Bernard Pivot was a French journalist, interviewer and host of cultural television programmes. He was chairman of the Académie Goncourt from 2014 to 2020.
