«Pandillas rivales» is the children's novel by Javier Malpica Maury, published by EDICIONES SM in paperback (192 pages, in Spanish).
Susana and Alfredo are twins, and each wants to form their own gang with their school friends: one of girls and one of boys. The two gangs challenge each other with tests to see who does it better, but the rivalry shows that unity and teamwork are worth more than pride, and that it's best to leave prejudices behind.
Number 237 of the El Barco de Vapor Roja collection. Includes illustrations by Clara Soriano Rioja and was published in February 2018.
Aimed at readers aged 10 to 12, with values such as friendship, equality and teamwork.
