«Pants» is the children's picture book by Giles Andreae and Nick Sharratt, published by Picture Corgi in paperback with CD (32 pages, in English).
A joyful tribute to pants: the book plays with rhymes and absurd situations around this garment, while children show off their funny designs. The edition includes a CD with narration by Lenny Henry, who also sings the text five times in folk, rap, reggae, disco and rock and roll styles.
First title in the «Pants» series; the work was originally published in 2002 and this CD edition appeared in February 2007.
Recommended for children up to 5 years old, especially those who enjoy silly rhymes, absurd humor and songs in reading.
Giles Andreae is a British writer and illustrator. He is the creator of the stickman poet Purple Ronnie and the humorous artist/philosopher Edward Monkton, and is the author of Giraffes Can't Dance and many other books for children.
