Synopsis of Pedra de tartera

«Em sento com una pedra amuntegada en una tartera. Si algú o alguna cosa encerta a moure-la, cauré amb les altres rodolant cap avall; si res no s'atansa, m'estaré quieta aquí dies i dies...». Así es como se ve Conxa cuando encarcelan a su marido al final de la Guerra Civil. De adolescente, tuvo que dejar a su familia en un pueblo del Pallars para vivir con la de su tía y, de esta manera, ayudarla en otra población de la misma comarca. Allí conoció a Jaume, albañil y carpintero de un pueblo vecino, de quien se enamoró, y se casó con él.
