«Pendant ce temps-là au ranch» is the children's story by Trinka Hakes Noble, published by Gallimard in paperback (30 pages, in French).
Ploucbill, a farmer, leaves his ranch and goes to the town of Mornetrou; during his absence, things keep happening at home: his wife wins a refrigerator and receives an inheritance, the cat and the sow have litters, the cow gives birth, and even oil springs from the ground. A tale with a folkloric flavor.
The work was published in 1989 and belongs to Gallimard's Folio Benjamin collection; it is written in French.
For children and young readers, especially those fond of rural stories with humor and absurd situations.
