«Penser Salman Rushdie» is the collective essay coordinated by Daniel Salvatore Schiffer, published by Editions de l’Aube in paperback (248 pages, French).
Following the 2022 attack on Salman Rushdie, condemned for «blasphemy» and «apostasy» for «Los versos satánicos», this volume brings together critical and previously unpublished texts by twenty-six authors in defense of his work, freedom of expression, tolerance, democracy and human rights. More than a tribute, it opposes fanaticism and advocates a new humanism.
Published on November 10, 2022, with the Fondation Jean Jaurès logo on the cover.
For readers interested in political essays, freedom of expression and the work of Salman Rushdie.
