In 'Perro Callejero' (Stray Dog), Martin Amis introduces us to Xan Meo, a man of multiple talents: actor, musician, writer, and son of a famous criminal. After a violent incident, Xan transforms, becoming an 'anti-husband' and 'anti-father,' driven by primal impulses and a disturbing sexuality. The novel explores themes of identity, corruption, and complex family relationships, featuring characters such as Clint Smoke, a sensationalist journalist, and Henry England, the King of England, all entangled in a web of mystery and scandal.

Sir Martin Louis Amis was an English novelist, essayist, memoirist, screenwriter and critic. He is best known for his novels Money (1984) and London Fields (1989). Amis was a professor of creative writing at the University of Manchester's Centre for New Writing from 2007 until 2011. In 2008, The Times named him one of the 50 greatest British writers since 1945.
