«Petit Ours Brun joue à être Papa» is the children's story by Collectif and Danièle Bour, published by Bayard in hardcover (16 pages, in French).
Petit Ours Brun sits in his armchair dressed as a grown-up, with glasses, and plays at being a dad: he imitates the gestures of an adult who looks after and cares for a little one. The scene, tender and everyday in tone, reflects how children reproduce in their play the behaviors they see at home.
It belongs to the Popi-Pomme d'api collection and is recommended for children aged 0 to 3.
For babies and young children who are beginning to imitate roles and everyday situations, with a relatable protagonist like Petit Ours Brun.
