«Poèmes de Paris» is the poetry anthology composed by Jacques Jouet, published in 2009 by Parigramme in paperback (143 pages, in French).
The work brings together 80 poems that traverse Paris by theme: the Seine, history, streets, gardens, loves, buildings, and the metro. It includes festive, somber, amorous, and political registers of the city and proposes reading them as a way of strolling and recognizing every corner.
For readers who want to discover Paris through verse and use it as a walking guide to its streets and corners.
Jacques Jouet is a French writer and has been a participating member of the Oulipo literary project since 1983.
