«Poesía» is the mystical poetry collection by San Juan de la Cruz, published by Ediciones Cátedra in paperback (304 pages, in Spanish).
This poetry collection by the Golden Age mystic combines spiritual experience and Renaissance mastery: its verses express the soul's union with the divine through symbolic, refined language. It includes the Canciones and other compositions that Domingo Ynduráin's edition studies with attention to their literary procedures and constructive system.
It belongs to the Letras Hispánicas collection (no. 178), edited by Domingo Ynduráin, and includes a bibliography.
It will appeal to readers of classical poetry, spirituality, and Spanish Golden Age literature.
