«Poesía completa» is the edition of Garcilaso de la Vega's poetry, published by Austral in paperback (424 pages, in Spanish).
This edition brings together the lyrical output of Garcilaso de la Vega (1501-1536), a poet of early Spanish humanism, marked by the experience of love and by the influence of classical and Italian poetry of Dante and Petrarch. The edition, prepared by Juan Francisco Alcina, adds the Latin poems and the prefaces by Garcilaso himself and by Boscán.
This 2000 edition belongs to the Clásica collection (number 96) of Austral.
For readers of classical poetry and students of Spanish Golden Age literature.

Garcilaso de la Vega, KOS was a Spanish soldier and poet. Although not the first or the only one to do so, he was the most influential poet to introduce Italian Renaissance verse forms, poetic techniques, and themes to Spain.
