«Poesía Infantil» is a children's poetry collection by José González Torices, illustrated by Xosé Cobás and published by Editorial Everest in paperback (72 pages).
The collection brings together 28 poems that look at everyday reality through children's eyes: vowels, seasons, the sun, the moon, the sea, thunder and the countryside appear alongside experiences such as learning to read, family relationships or fear of ogres and witches. The cheerful, musical tone seeks to awaken the sensitivity and imagination of the young reader.
The book is written in Spanish, is the 9th edition of the Leer es vivir collection and was published in 2000; it was also included on the CCEI 2001 Honor List.
Recommended for children aged 6 to 10.
