«Por el camino de Ulectra» is the young adult science fiction novel by Martín Casariego Córdoba, published by Anaya in paperback (176 pages).
In 2314 no one knows how to read: brain chips supply knowledge and a pill eliminates suffering. Glaster and Miguel discover that their parents died to recover reading, a privilege that prevents human mechanization. With the help of Flecha they travel to unknown planets, among monsters and dangers, until Ulectra.
Novel winner of the IV Anaya Prize for Children's and Young Adult Literature. This 2013 edition is the second; it was originally published in 2007.
Recommended for readers aged 12 and up, especially those interested in science fiction and dystopias.
