«Poulette Crevette» is the illustrated children's picture book by Françoise Guillaumond and Clément Oubrerie, published by Magnard in paperback (30 pages, in French).
In a henhouse, a shrimp-colored chick is born who, once grown into a beautiful little hen, still does not speak, to her parents' despair, who decide to consult the Queen of the layers. A picture book that addresses with tenderness and humor respect for difference and each child's own pace.
Part of the «Que d'histoires !» collection, a reading method for the CP level of French primary school, in its series 1, period 1.
Designed for children starting to read in French (CP level), it is also useful in the classroom for addressing tolerance and different learning paces.
Clement Oubrerie was a French comics artist.
