Pourquoi mamie n'est pas gâteau

Synopsis of Pourquoi mamie n'est pas gâteau

«Pourquoi mamie n'est pas gâteau» is a children's book by Sophie Chérer, published by L'École des loisirs-Animax in paperback (70 pages, in French).

Mathilde wonders why her grandmother is not like the others: she doesn't wear glasses, doesn't have gray hair, doesn't like tea or infusions, isn't interested in crosswords and, above all, hates cooking. Granny also has a convertible sports car that she drives at full speed.

The book was published in 2005 in the Animax collection of L'École des loisirs.

For children and young readers; a story that invites reflection on difference and stereotypes.
