«Princess Tales Around the World» is a hardcover illustrated fairy-tale storybook in verse by Grace Maccarone (31 pages, in English).
It collects ten fairy tales from different traditions, from Rapunzel and The Little Mermaid to The Princess on the Glass Hill and The Six Swans, retold in verse. Each story is accompanied by full-page illustrations that hide objects and details for young children to search and find.
Published by Feiwel & Friends in 2017, with illustrations by Gail de Marcken. The book includes the author's notes on the tales.
Aimed at early readers and for reading aloud, it combines classic tales with observation games.
Grace Maccarone is an American children’s book editor and author, notably of Miss Lina’s Ballerinas, illustrated by Christine Davenier, and its sequel Miss Lina’s Ballerinas and the Prince. She has also worked as an editor at Scholastic, Wireless Generation, and currently Holiday House.
