«Proses éparses» is a collection of prose by Robert Musil, published by Seuil in 1991 in paperback (251 pages, in French).
It brings together prose and short texts by Robert Musil, selected and translated into French by Philippe Jaccottet from the Adolf Frisé edition. Critics note that no line by Musil is insignificant: every word is part of his literary project, so it serves to complete the work of the author of «El hombre sin atributos».
Published on October 3, 1991 in the Points collection (no. R482); translation and introduction by Philippe Jaccottet based on the Adolf Frisé edition.
For admirers of Robert Musil who want to discover his lesser-known texts and broaden their reading of «El hombre sin atributos».
Philippe Jaccottet was a Swiss-born Francophone poet and translator.
