«Pu der Bär» is the children's classic by A. A. Milne, published by Süddeutsche Zeitung Bibliothek in hardcover (135 pages, in German).
Pu, Christopher Robin's teddy bear, and his forest friends live small everyday adventures: Ferkel, a timid piglet; I-Ah, the grumpy donkey; Kaninchen, the rabbit; and Eule, the owl. With humor and tenderness, the boy and the animals turn their surroundings into a world of fantasy.
Volume 1 of the SZ Junge Bibliothek and of the Winnie-the-Pooh series. German translation by Harry Rowohlt, with illustrations by Ernest H. Shepard. Children's classic originally published in 1926.
Aimed at early readers and at reading aloud to children; also enjoyed by those who want to rediscover this children's classic.

Alan Alexander Milne was an English writer best known for his books about the teddy bear Winnie-the-Pooh, as well as children's poetry. Milne was primarily a playwright before the huge success of Winnie-the-Pooh overshadowed his previous work. He served as a lieutenant in the Royal Warwickshire Regiment in the First World War and as a captain in the Home Guard in the Second World War.
