«Puro Pelo, ¡ni príncipes, ni princesas!» is the children's story by Fabián Sevilla, published by Quipu in paperback (63 pages, in Spanish).
With Puro Pelo and his friends as protagonists, the work asks who has established that girls cannot wear armor or play soccer, and that boys cannot learn to cook or crochet. The story uses humor to invite the youngest to fulfill their dreams and not be pigeonholed by gender roles.
The work was published in 2014 and the illustrations are by Juan Chavetta.
Aimed at young readers, it serves at home and in the classroom to discuss gender equality and freedom of choice.
