«Quédate con nosotros, Señor, porque atardece» is the novel by Álvaro Pombo, published by Ediciones Destino in paperback (256 pages, in Spanish).
In a Trappist convent south of Granada, the prior conceals the suicide of Father Abel as an accidental death. The arrival of a media intellectual obsessed with learning the friar's reasons and publishing his diary unsettles the small community, whose five monks will see their life of prayer and silence shaken. The novel combines spiritual and philosophical reflection with a criminal plot around the mystery of that death.
«Quédate con nosotros, Señor, porque atardece» belongs to the Áncora & Delfín collection of Ediciones Destino. It was published in 2013 and has 256 pages in paperback.
