«Rapsodia española» is the anthology of popular poetry by Antonio Burgos, published by La Esfera de los Libros in hardcover (584 pages, in Spanish).
It brings together the most beloved verses of Spanish popular poetry, with authors such as Rafael de León and the Álvarez Quintero. These are coplas born for oral tradition, theater and radio, which Antonio Burgos gathers as the sentimental memory of several generations. The CD accompanying the book includes recitations by Francisco Valladares.
For readers who want to rediscover popular poetry and the coplas that form part of the Spanish sentimental memory.
Antonio Burgos Belinchón was a Spanish traditionalist-conservative journalist, novelist and multi-media writer.
