«Resturlaub: Das Zweitbuch» is Tommy Jaud's humor novel, published by Fischer Taschenbuch in paperback (256 pages, in German).
Peter 'Pitschi' Greulich, PR manager at a brewery, flees his provincial life for Buenos Aires. His parents expect him to build a house, his girlfriend wants a child, and his friends insist on Mallorca; there, a chain of tragicomic misadventures awaits him. A comedy about finding oneself and the value of what one already has.
Subtitled 'Das Zweitbuch' ('the second book'), published in 2007; the action takes place between Nuremberg and Buenos Aires.
For readers of light comedy with everyday antiheroes; Pitschi's story between family expectations and desire for change connects with adult audiences.
Tommy Jaud is a German author, scriptwriter, and freelance author for many television productions.
