«Riccardino» is the crime novel by Andrea Camilleri, published by Salamandra in paperback (256 pages, in Spanish).
Last case for Inspector Salvo Montalbano. The manager of a bank branch in Vigàta is shot dead at point-blank range by a motorcyclist, and the inspector, tired of crimes, tries to close the investigation quickly. What seems like a settling of scores over honor becomes a tangle of deceptions, a farewell in which the author plays with reality and fiction.
It is the 33rd installment in the Inspector Montalbano series, also known as Salamandra Narrativa. A novel published posthumously, sketched by Camilleri between 2004 and 2005 and taken up again in 2016.
For readers of crime and detective fiction who want to follow the cases of the famous Sicilian inspector.
Andrea Calogero Camilleri was an Italian writer best known for his Salvo Montalbano crime novels.
