«Robinson contado por las alimañas» is the children's novel by Marilar Aleixandre published by Oxford University Press España, S.A. in paperback (192 pages).
In this version, the island's animals narrate the story: they have named Robinson Tinga for his white skin and consider him a castaway unable to survive without their help. The word passes from Yaguatirica, the wild cat who finds him, to the tortoise who teaches him to eat worms; everything changes with the arrival of Taiguara, whom Robinson insists on calling Friday.
