«Rubí, la imprudente» is a children's story written by Hiawyn Oram and illustrated by Tony Ross, published by Timun Mas in paperback (32 pages, in Spanish).
Rubí is fed up with her parents seeing her as a «precious» little girl and is determined to prove she has much more worth. To do so, she does increasingly reckless things: she throws herself from a roof into a fish tank, hangs from a skyscraper by her shoelaces, and ends up turning her life into a wild adventure.
Published in 1992, it is part of the La Nube de Algodón collection from Timun Mas, within its Children's and Young Adult catalogue.
Aimed at young readers who enjoy wild stories and mischievous protagonists.
