«Sabiduría de Occidente y Oriente» is the spirituality essay by Willigis Jäger, published by Desclée De Brouwer in paperback (112 pages, in Spanish).
Jäger, a Benedictine monk and Zen master, presents a transconfessional spirituality that unites Christian mysticism, Zen and science. The author brings together the wisdom of East and West to answer the seeker, without dogmas. The Benediktushof, a center led by Jäger since 2003 in Holzkirchen, is presented as a meeting place for spiritual schools.
It belongs to the Caminos collection of Desclée De Brouwer, where it is number 90. Translated from German by Carmen Monske.
Aimed at readers interested in contemporary spirituality, comparative mysticism and the dialogue between religions and science.

Willigis Jäger was a German Catholic priest and Benedictine monk. He was a Zen master who trained and taught in the Sanbo Kyodan tradition. Jäger founded a centre of Zen and contemplation at the Münsterschwarzach Abbey in 1983, and his own Benediktushof, an inter-faith centre of meditation and awareness, in 2003.
