Se tiene que morir mucha gente

Synopsis of Se tiene que morir mucha gente

Victoria Martín's first novel narrates with irreverence and irony the story of four friends who face a life they did not expect. Bárbara, addicted to anxiety pills and obsessed with money, works as a script assistant. Maca, her friend, is an aspiring actress who only receives rejections. Elena, a former colleague, invites Bárbara to a baby gender reveal party, where Elena, desperate, abandons her husband and moves in with Bárbara and Maca. Fabiola, an influencer with a 'sustainable' jewelry brand, joins the group. Together, these four friends face a life that is not what they wanted, in a novel about inaction and female friendship in times of precariousness and social media.
