«Sintecho» is the novel by Miguel Torres López de Uralde, published by Reino de Cordelia in paperback (254 pages, in Spanish).
A young editor abandons his former life to devote himself to writing a novel and crosses paths with a vagrant who lives in an abandoned car, over whom looms the shadow of a girl who disappeared five years earlier on a beach. The narrative alternates two narrative planes and traces a metaphor about the boundaries between reality and fiction.
First edition published in 2013, number 29 of the Reino de Cordelia collection. Winner of the 17th Vargas Llosa Novel Prize.
