«Snowhite» is the graphic novel by Ana Juan that recreates the tale of Snow White, published by Edicions de Ponent in hardcover (84 pages, in Spanish).
A recreation of the tale of Snow White with a highly personal visual approach: the panels, drawn in black and white with a single ink, show a protagonist with an intense gaze and wind-blown hair, in scenes with marked shadows and textures.
Published in 2001 in the Mercat collection (no. 12), it received the Prize for the best illustrated book in the Castilian language from the Conselleria de Cultura, Educació i Ciència of the Generalitat Valenciana.
For graphic novel readers interested in reinterpretations of classic fairy tales.
