«Sobre ruínas» is the poetry collection by Xesús Rábade Paredes, published in paperback by Alvarellos Editora in 2013 (108 pages, in Galician).
The poems in this book are conceived as a weapon for an age of the vanquished and defeated. They are a call to those who have given up and a complaint against emptiness, with a voice that denounces the damned, the vile and the merchants; ruins become a starting point for memory.
This is the first edition and it belongs to the Libros do Sarela collection. This poetry collection won the Fervenzas Literarias Awards in the poetry category in 2013.
A work for readers of contemporary Galician poetry who appreciate combative verse, memory and social denunciation.
