«Sonata de Primavera / Sonata de Estío» is the modernist narrative work by Ramón del Valle-Inclán, published by Austral in paperback (192 pages, in Spanish).

These two sonatas are part of the memoirs that the Marqués de Bradomín, a not particularly handsome, Catholic and sentimental Don Juan figure, began writing in exile. The action moves from northern Italy to an exuberant Mexico and, from the aesthetics of Modernism, reformulates the Don Juan myth with a taste for the aristocratic, the refined and the cosmopolitan.
