«Soy de pueblo» is the humorous comic by Moderna de Pueblo, published by Lumen in paperback (128 pages, in Spanish).
With a humorous tone, the author recounts the rituals needed to make a place in the city: keeping up with series, blogs, designers and social networks, and mingling in modern circles while sharing an apartment and surviving unpaid jobs. An illustrated manual that reflects the contradictions between small-town customs and urban life.
Work from the Lumen Gráfica collection; this 2015 edition is the third. Moderna de Pueblo is the alter ego of author Raquel Córcoles.
Recommended for readers seeking humor about urban life and the contradictions between small town and city, especially those who have moved to a big city.
