«Tanis I o Mocos» is the children's and young adult novel by Manuel Lourenzo González, published by Edicións Xerais in paperback (144 pages, in Galician).
The book tells the story of Prince Estanislao, heir to the kingdom of Sofrovia, on the day he turns eighteen and causes a great stir at the palace over a matter of dress etiquette: he demands his tailcoat, and the royal butlers hand him an old, frayed garment full of patches. The situation leads to mix-ups and humorous situations.
Work from the Merlín collection of Edicións Xerais, recommended for ages 11 and up. Includes illustrations by Santy Gutiérrez.
Suitable for children and young adult readers aged 11 and up, especially for those seeking humorous stories set in an imaginary kingdom.
