In 'Tantos años', Erik Orsenna introduces us to Gabriel, an ordinary man whose life takes a turn when he falls madly in love with Élisabeth in the Botanical Garden of Paris. Despite both being married, they begin a romance that spans thirty-five years, marked by encounters and disagreements in places as diverse as Seville and Beijing. Their love becomes a legend, defying moral conventions and discovering that time is the only truth and adventure. This novel portrays the persistence of loving sentiment in a changing world.
