«Te deix, amor, la mar com a penyora. Jo pos per testimoni les gavines» is the short story collection by Carme Riera published by Labutxaca in paperback in Catalan.
This volume brings together the first two short story collections with which Carme Riera made her name: Te deix, amor, la mar com a penyora (1975) and Jo pos per testimoni les gavines (1977). These narratives combine a testimonial gaze, a subversive and denunciatory will, and a clear poetic vocation.
The volume belongs to the Biblioteca Carme Riera collection from Labutxaca and consists of 192 pages; the two short story collections it includes were originally published by Editorial Laia.
For readers of short fiction in Catalan.
