Who would imagine that the perfect cure purrs? In a dark alley in Kyoto hides the Kokoro Clinic, a place shrouded in mystery where only those who need it most arrive. Its peculiar treatment consists of “prescribing” cats, a solution that baffles patients, but holds the potential to change their lives. Guided by the eccentric Dr. Nike and his grumpy nurse Chitose, patients seek answers: a young manager, how to regain joy after losing his job; an exhausted mother, how to reconnect with her daughter; a designer, the rest she so badly needs; and a geisha, comfort after a painful loss. Each one faces their internal conflicts while finding in their feline companions an unexpected guide, demonstrating that, sometimes, the love and company of a cat can be the first step towards healing.
