«Terra fonda» is a poetry collection by Lurdes Malgrat i Escarp, published by Cossetània Edicions in 2008 in paperback (80 pages, in Catalan).
The collection starts from the land as experience and invitation, a starting point that is also a point of return. It traverses personal and collective history in a landscape where the poetic self merges with the surroundings, and commits to poetry that goes beyond pure lyricism through a conceptual construction based on the poetic image.
It is volume 58 of the La Gent del Llamp (Vària) collection and the second poetry collection by Lurdes Malgrat i Escarp, after «Amat» (2005).
For readers of contemporary poetry in Catalan seeking a work where landscape, memory and conceptual reflection intertwine.
