«The Time Hoppers» is the science fiction novel by Robert Silverberg, published by Gollancz in paperback (208 pages, in English).
In the overpopulated world of the year 2490, traveling to the past is an escape route. Joe Quellen, a 25th-century bureaucrat, investigates the 'hoppers': future travelers documented in past eras for centuries. When his brother-in-law Norman Pomrath, an unemployed worker, gets the chance to hop, Quellen fears the present may cease to exist.
The novel was originally published in 1967; this 1988 Gollancz edition belongs to the 'A Gollancz paperback' collection.
Will appeal to fans of classic science fiction, time travel and social dystopias.
