«Tiempo Muerto» is the science fiction novel by Fran Castillo, published by Group Edition World in paperback (250 pages, in Spanish).
A strange virus spreads through Madrid and other cities in Spain: the infected lose their sanity and become aggressive. The novel follows several people trying to survive the first hours of an uncontrolled urban collapse, making extreme decisions to make it through to the next day. A zombie story that does not follow the usual conventions of the genre.
First edition published in June 2019. The novel gained recognition on Wattpad before making the leap to the publishing world.
For readers of science fiction and survival stories in collapsed urban environments.
