«Typical Spanish» is the humorous compilation by Ramón Arangüena, published by Temas de Hoy in paperback (216 pages, in Spanish).
Ramón Arangüena, known for the show «Lo + Plus», brings together real ads, obituaries and news items from the press and the internet. The result is a portrait of an unusual and absurd Spain, close to surrealism and black humor, where the most unlikely things can be true.
Published in 2001 in the Temas de Humor collection by Ediciones Temas de Hoy. Subtitle: «Los anuncios más disparatados, las esquelas más divertidas, los contactos menos frecuentes».
For readers interested in absurd humor and the oddities of Spanish society, with a tone close to nonsense and black humor.
