«Un cocodril sota el llit» is the children's novel by Mariasun Landa, published by La Galera in hardcover (88 pages, in Catalan).
Office worker J.J. discovers that a crocodile lives under his bed and receives a diagnosis as strange as the situation: he suffers from «cocodrilitis». The novel turns this absurd premise into a humorous story about loneliness and lack of communication, with illustrations by Marta Moreno.
The work is part of the Narrativa Singular collection (no. 139) and the Basque version won the Premi Nacional de Literatura Infantil i Juvenil 2003.
Recommended reading for children aged 10 to 12, with a short story combining humor and reflection on emotions.
