«Un cœur trop lourd» is Ann Rule's true crime chronicle, published by Michel Lafon in paperback (234 pages, in French).
The work reconstructs a real case that begins like a fairy tale: the wedding of Liysa and Chris Northon deteriorates into a nightmare. In October 2000, Chris is found dead by a river and the police attribute it to an accident; a colleague of the deceased shares his suspicions with Ann Rule.
The original English title is «Heart Full of Lies: A True Story of Desire and Death»; the translation is by Claire Forget-Menot.
Recommended for readers of true crime, criminal psychology, and real cases of suspicious death.
