«Un elefant amb cor d'ocell» is the children's book by Mariasun Landa, published by Barcanova in paperback (72 pages).
A herd of elephants with cultural interests places an ad to hire a dynamic, adventurous teacher: they offer accommodation in the African jungle, a vegetarian diet, and a hundred tons of bananas. When a teacher responds, she discovers that not all elephants are alike and that the key lies in each one's heart.
Published in 2001, it is part of the Sopa de Llibres collection (Groga series) and includes illustrations by Emilio Urberuaga.
Recommended for early readers aged 6 to 8 who are beginning to read independently.
