«Un hivern plàcid» is the poetry collection by Miquel Martí i Pol, published by Edicions 62 in 1994, in paperback (80 pages, in Catalan).
It brings together poems evoking a winter of renunciations agreed with oneself to make solitude more tangible, described as a soft, nostalgic, and close music. It is a central work by Miquel Martí i Pol in which sadness is assumed as a way to resist adversity, with great musicality.
It belongs to the L'Escorpí. Poesia series (number 167). It was awarded the Premi de la Crítica de Poesía Catalana in 1994.
For readers of poetry in Catalan and for those who want to approach the intimate lyricism of Miquel Martí i Pol.
