«Un monstruo en el armario» is the children's book by Carmen Vázquez-Vigo, published by Círculo de Lectores in paperback (81 pages, in Spanish).
Jorge wishes his grandfather would amaze his friends like their grandfathers do, making paper birds, kites, or ships in bottles. When the grandfather arrives from Buenos Aires, his journalist stories fascinate the children. One of them is about a monster, and the little ones will look for it in the closet. A story about family, imagination, and grandfathers.
The work belongs to the El Barco de Vapor collection and received the National Prize for Children's and Young Adult Literature.
Aimed at readers aged 9 to 12, interested in family and imaginative stories.
