«Un safari a l'habitació!» is an illustrated children's book by Meritxell Martí and Xavier Salomó, published by Barcanova in hardcover (32 pages, in Catalan).
A child with an explorer hat turns his room into an imaginary safari where elephants, crocodiles, pandas and giraffes coexist. The narrative plays with the idea that every room is a story and every story a game, and helps dispel nighttime fears with stuffed animals, the evening star and reading before bed.
Published in 2007, it belongs to the collection «La llar dels contes»; this edition includes magnetic figures of the characters and a poster of the room.
For children aged 5 to 6 who are beginning to read, especially as accompanied reading before bed.
