«Un tirón de la cola» is a book of animal stories by Mary Hoffman, Frances Lincoln and Ramon Masnou Ferrer, published by Vicens Vives in paperback.
It brings together folk tales about animals from different cultures, featuring characters such as a coquettish sheep, a clumsy caiman or a cunning jackal. Wit allows the weakest to outwit the strongest, though greed, naivety or boastfulness usually end badly. It includes illustrations by Jan Ormerod and activities that discuss the stories.
Volume 12 of the Cucaña Collection; translated from English by Francisco Antón García.
For readers aged 9 to 10 and for use as supplementary material in Primary Education.
