«Una corona para Vicky» is the children's novel by Equipo Susaeta, published by Tikal-Susaeta in hardcover (146 pages, in Spanish).
Vicky comes from a noble family fallen on hard times, but she is the antithesis of a princess: unruly mane, a fondness for climbing trees, and a necklace of macaroni as her only jewel. To teach her manners, her aunt Henrietta enrolls her at Princess College, where she will meet three fantastic friends.
First volume of the Princess College series, published in 2011. It features illustrations by Donata Pizzato, Blasco Pisapia, and Maurizio De Bellis.
Recommended reading from age 8 for those who enjoy stories of friendship, schools, and protagonists who break princess stereotypes.
